Project: Doppelte Last

I am immensely proud to have been a part of Project: Doppelte Last from November 2015 to July 2016. This project was a deeply meaningful exploration of the history of National Socialism and the Holocaust in Europe, and my involvement allowed me to contribute to its profound mission.

During this period, I collaborated with a dedicated team, the Sarajevo Historical Museum, and renowned photographer Jim Marshall to curate the exhibition titled "What does the city tell us about the past?" This exhibition was a powerful testament to the importance of preserving and learning from our history.

I played a multifaceted role in this project, one of which was working alongside Jim Marshall to capture photographs that would become a vital part of the exhibition. Collaborating with such a respected and accomplished photographer was an incredible opportunity, and our images became a visual narrative that resonated with the historical significance of the project.

My involvement in Project: Doppelte Last allowed me to engage with the haunting history of the Holocaust and gain a deeper understanding of its impact on Europe. I played a part in bringing the untold stories embedded in the very streets and buildings of affected cities to light.

Through Project: Doppelte Last, I learned the significance of remembering the past to ensure a more enlightened and compassionate future. This experience has not only enriched my knowledge but also instilled in me a profound sense of responsibility to promote awareness and understanding of history's critical lessons.

Being a part of Project: Doppelte Last has been a defining moment in my journey, and I am honored to have contributed to such a meaningful endeavor. It has reinforced my commitment to history, education, and the pursuit of a more compassionate world.
